Elly, Melbourne Doula who offers postpartum and prenatal support, pregnancy and IVF support through care and meals

Welcome — I’m Elly, a Melbourne Doula Supporting You Through Postpartum, Sibling Support & Nourishing Care

Whether you're settling in with your first baby or helping older children navigate the changes of welcoming a new sibling, I’m here to walk beside you. As a mother, early childhood educator, and IVF warrior, I bring lived experience, deep empathy, and practical support to every family I work with.

My offerings are designed to hold space for you — the mother — and the whole household. From emotional care and gentle sibling preparation to linking you with trusted professionals and delivering home-cooked meals, my role is to offer comfort, connection, and care in a season that can feel tender and overwhelming.

Because this time matters. And you're not meant to do it alone.

‘Mothers pour out so much,
let’s pour into them’

Elly, postpartum Doula, offering sibling support for mothers, IVF support and care

Hi, I’m Elly — a Melbourne-based doula, mother, early childhood teacher, and someone who believes deeply in the power of the village. My journey to motherhood wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of support. After four years of IVF, I was blessed with my daughter, Rose, and my journey to motherhood shaped my passion for helping others.

I believe no one should navigate motherhood alone. As a doula, I’m here to provide the emotional care and practical support every mother deserves. Whether it’s postpartum care, sibling preparation, or nourishing meals, my mission is to help you feel held, supported, and cared for during this incredible journey.

At home, you’ll find me enjoying the slow life, tending to my plants, and savoring the warmth of home-cooked meals. I love nostalgia, a good quote, and—let’s be honest—I probably think I’m funnier than I actually am.

But what I know for sure? Every mother deserves to be surrounded by care, and I’m here to help make that happen.

A Little Bit About Me

  • Postpartum meals as part of Doula support

    Let me fill your cup

Allow me to hold you while you hold your baby and growing family. Whether this is by debriefing your birth, validated your wild emotions, bringing you comforting meals, ticking off chores from your to do list, pet care or supporting siblings.

  • I offer IVF support in Melbourne

    What perspectives do I bring?

My personal experience undergoing four years of fertility treatments has given me a deep understanding of the anxieties and worries that can create overstimulation during pregnancy and postpartum.

My aim is to ease some of this through my offerings along with informational support or referrals to specialised professionals such as Osteos, Private Midwife’s, Lactations Consultants, sleep consultants, counsellors etc

  • I can help you prepare children and offer sibling support, a sibling Doula

    What is my super power?

As an Early Childhood Teacher I also have a toolbox of resources and strategies to support siblings as their family grows and changes. Young children thrive off predictability and consistency. A newborn can impact these comforts for siblings. I am able to work with you during pregnancy to prepare siblings for the arrival of your baby, through play and child led experiences.

I can also offer support to siblings during postpartum giving you guilt free time with baby or care for baby while you spend quality time with your older children

 FAQs

  • It might start with me heading to the kitchen to unpack a small hamper of a few groceries, a meal and some one handed snacks. While I am there, I will stick the kettle on, and stack the dishwasher while the water boils. Next we will enjoy a cuppa whilst debriefing and laughing at some of the crazy things hormones and little sleep have us thinking and doing (putting a hairbush in the fridge for example). After that you and baby take a nap and I take the dog for a for a walk, feed him and put a load of washing on. When you wake up we talk about a plan for how days will look when your partner goes back to work. We brainstorm ways to make it manageable to get your toddler to daycare, have the dog walked and have your morning coffee. Before I leave, I heat up some healing chicken soup that I bought with me and leave a little gift for self care by the bath x

  • I am a text lover, however I am also a lover of being present with my family. I will respond before or by the next working day. With both of us busy with our families, I will limit the amount of texts to 4 replies within 24 hours.

  • I am lucky that my mumma is a retired lactation consultant so I felt so supported on my breastfeeding journey. This is how I want women I work with to feel, supported by providing information, resources for them to make the feeding choice that is right for them and their baby. A supported happy mum, makes for a nurtured and happy baby.

  • Think comforting Grandmas cooking - feels like a warm hug. Made with essential ingredients for postpartum and milk supply. But most importantly for the soul.
